I want to know what things people do to help them deal with the anxiety, depression, and PTSD caused by Military Sexual Assault.

I personally sing. I am talking the music cranked up high and singing my heart out which feels like it allows me to pour feelings through my voice to dismiss them....it possibly could be argued as a way of avoidance but it almost never lets me down.

I find for me being in the water is the best way to deal with my anxiety & depression. I swim which is great on helping me breath. That and when you're in the water it's like you're in your own little world because you can't hear anything so there is something so calming about that. I also started surfing again which is also great because for you to stand up on your board or to catch the right way its patience and being completely calm. I know not everyone can do those two activities but I would highly suggest anything that helps with breathing and relaxation!
